The State of Florida Employment Application is available from peoplefirst.myflorida.com (after you login). It is the official document to be used when applying for employment with the State of Florida. Applicants may complete an application and apply for advertised positions online. Blank state applications may be obtained online, from the Department, any One Stop Center, or any Career Service agency personnel office. To be considered for employment, you must submit a separate application for each position for which you apply. Legible photocopies are acceptable.
Also ensure that you complete the application in its entirety, providing in detail all of the information requested. If desired, a resume or other supplemental information may be attached to the application.

To claim Veterans' Preference you must meet certain criteria and substantiate your claim by furnishing a DD214 (or comparable document which serves as a certificate of release or discharge) and any other required supporting documentation at the time of application.
